About the Program
This program has been designed specifically for technicians, electricians, electrical repairmen, maintenance mechanics, and others who wish to acquire a solid understanding of the principles of electricity.
This course provides a fundamental understanding and working knowledge of the practical aspects of industrial electricity. Emphasis is placed on practical applications, and a coordinated laboratory is included to help relate theory to practice and to acquaint participants with modern troubleshooting techniques. Where applicable, provisions of the National Electrical Code will be introduced.
Certificate Requirements
Participants must successfully complete the two courses maintaining at least a "C" average.

Manufacturing companies throughout the Reading, Pennsylvania, region are searching for candidates with electrical knowledge to fill technician positions and to grow within the companies.

Meet the Instructor
Seth P. Musco earned his Associate's Degree in Electronics Technology from PennTech in Pittsburgh, PA, and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA. He has held multiple roles within electronic manufacturing companies, from assembler/technician to sales engineer. Currently, he also teaches at Berks Career and Technology Center.
